Stainless steel welder — Henry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Henry County, Alabama. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Full-time with occasional weekends.
