MIG/MAG welder — Douglas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Douglas County, Colorado. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 1+ years on the tools preferred.
