You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection The role involves carry out 6G pipe welds where required; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters.
