Great opportunity: foundry labourer (Oklahoma)

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Grant County, Oklahoma. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day to day you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges.
