Join our team: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Itu, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances.
