Requirements: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders The role involves: • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
