Quality assurance assistant wanted in Ontonagon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Ontonagon County, Michigan. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges On a typical shift you will raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
