Great opportunity: aluminium tig welder (Oyo State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Ibadan North East, Oyo State. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On the job you will handle: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Six days a week, one day off.
