Reinforcement steel fixer — Glacier County

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Glacier County, Montana. Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 1+ years on the tools preferred.
