Incoming goods inspector — Howard County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Howard County, Maryland. You will be based at a food processing unit. Requirements: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor You will measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
