Vacancy available: floor screeder (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a floor screeder in Hardin County, Illinois. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules On a typical shift you will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms.
