Glass cutter — Charlotte County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass cutter in Charlotte County, Virginia. The job is at a double glazing firm. On a typical shift you will fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; replace cracked or broken window panes. Requirements: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools 6+ years on the tools preferred.
