Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Ugwunagbo, Abia State. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent 2+ years on the tools preferred.
