Skimming plasterer • Highland, Scotland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Highland, Scotland. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. Day to day you will check walls for plumb and level as you go; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork. You should have: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around £13 per hour, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
