Steam press operator — Claiborne Parish

Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory On the job you will handle: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press 3+ years on the tools preferred.
