Pipe tig welder • Cass County, Missouri

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Cass County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE On the job you will handle: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
