RCC mason — Blackford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a RCC mason in Blackford County, Indiana. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules On the job you will handle: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors Six days a week, one day off.
