Sewing machine operator • Grundy County, Missouri

Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Grundy County, Missouri. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
