Join our team: finishing plasterer (Louisiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. On a typical shift you will tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; check walls for plumb and level as you go; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush. You should have: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Full-time with occasional weekends.
