Vacancy available: we are hiring a pastry baker in Aitkin County, Minnesota. The job is in a bread factory. The role involves: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Six days a week, one day off.
