Cnc lathe setter — Skagway Municipality

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Skagway Municipality, Alaska. On the job you will handle: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred 2+ years on the tools preferred.
