Great opportunity: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Kent County, Michigan. The job is on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
