We are recruiting: we are hiring a hoist operator in City of Poquoson, Virginia. You will be based on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Day to day you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL).
