Canteen cook wanted in Anoka County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Anoka County, Minnesota. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Requirements: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Strong knife skills and speed on the line On the job you will handle: • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency We offer $150 per day plus benefits.
