Press machine operator wanted in Southend-on-Sea

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press machine operator in Southend-on-Sea, England. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Day-to-day duties: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Part-time with flexible hours.
