Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding On a typical shift you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
