Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Sevier County, Arkansas. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. The role involves install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience.
