Elevator technician • Halifax County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Halifax County, Virginia. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Your main tasks: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Rotating shifts.
