Fabricator-welder wanted in Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Washington County, Oregon. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day to day you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
