Lawn care technician — Troup County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Troup County, Georgia. You will be based at a plant nursery. Day-to-day duties: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
