Sheet metal welder wanted in City of Lynchburg

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in City of Lynchburg, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
