Vertical transportation technician • Fauquier County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Fauquier County, Virginia. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Your main tasks: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Valid driving licence for site call-outs A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
