Stainless steel welder • Jefferson County, Nebraska

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Jefferson County, Nebraska. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
