Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal caster in Columbia County, Florida. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding On the job you will handle: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
