Urgent requirement: we are hiring a security officer in Orkney Islands, Scotland. You will work at a construction site. You should have: • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid • Height and weight as per security norms • Clean police verification with no criminal record Day to day you will check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds; control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; man the reception desk and direct visitors to the right block; write up incident reports after any disturbance; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around £2,350 per month, based on your experience.
