Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in DeKalb County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Day-to-day duties: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution Meals and transport allowance provided.
