We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar worker in Ikpoba-Okha, Edo. You will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
