Meat cutter wanted in Glasgow City

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat cutter in Glasgow City, Scotland. You will work at a halal meat counter. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
