Now hiring: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Northwest Hills Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
