Now hiring: we are hiring a plasterer in DeKalb County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish The role involves check walls for plumb and level as you go; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
