Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Keana, Nasarawa State. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Full-time with occasional weekends.
