Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. Day-to-day duties: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Part-time with flexible hours.
