Urgent requirement: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Jefferson County, Illinois. You will work at a cold storage facility. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Working-at-height certificate an advantage Your main tasks: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
