Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Clinch County, Georgia. The job is in a tailoring workshop. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
