Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Charleston County, South Carolina. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE Day-to-day duties: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Performance bonus on top of base pay.
