Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in El Paso County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate On a typical shift you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
