GTAW welder — Dikwa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Dikwa, Borno State. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces The role involves back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish.
