Rebar worker • Dudley, England

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar worker in Dudley, England. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 1+ years on the tools preferred.
