Trowel-trade bricklayer — Bottineau County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Bottineau County, North Dakota. The job is on a new-build development. Your main tasks: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Rotating shifts.
