We are recruiting: powder coating technician (Tennessee)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Sumner County, Tennessee. You will work at a fabrication and coating plant. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting You will mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; degrease and clean metal parts before coating; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
